The 6th China International Consumer Products Expo (CICPE) just opened in Haikou, capital of south China’s Hainan Province.

Date:

It is a key event showcasing the Hainan Free Trade Port after its island-wide customs operations took full effect last December. One highlight this year is a dedicated Taiwan exhibition zone — the first of its kind at the expo. It comes as new cross-Strait policies are rolled out after Cheng Li-wun’s mainland visit this month, creating fresh opportunities for Taiwan businesses to expand in the mainland market. Running from April 13–18, the expo continues to connect global brands with Chinese consumers. Since 2021, over 3,800 companies and 12,000+ brands from 92 countries and regions have joined — making CICPE a key window into China’s consumer trends.
