A Gambian teacher is working to transform how young people perceive agriculture by turning school gardens into practical learning spaces and encouraging students to view farming as a profitable career path.
Mustapha Kanagie, executive director of Smart Agripreneur Academy (SAA) and a teacher from Jarra Jappineh, Lower River Region and founder of Smart Agripreneurs’ Academy, is spearheading an initiative that promotes youth agripreneurship through school outreach programmes and practical gardening projects.
